Lovely restaurant! Food was lovely local cuisine, staff were lovely and helped recommend typical pugliese dishes. Dessert was maybe slightly too sweet but only a minor thing.

The food and the service of osteria piga is fabulous. The staff was extremely kind and made us tagliatelle with truffles although it wasn’t summer or part of their menu. The tagliatelle was amazing!!! One of the best I’ve had in my life. Gaetano (the manager) is an amazing host. I would definitely recommend this place. Although, make sure to make a reservation as this place is super packed and also makes Gaetano’s life easier 😝 Also, this place is perfect for a first date. It’s super romantic. Let me summarize: 1. It’s very over-priced 2. The meat was very chewy and blunt 3. As much as service was friendly and nice with recommendations, they oversold us on portions. Careful when ordering to not over order because they claimed portions were small Very big disappointment. If you torn between places to go, pass on this one. (All negative reviews were true, wanted to go and confirm for ourselves)

One of the most exquisite food experiences we had in Italy. We so rarely write food / restaurant reviews but this place deserves a shoutout! Not only we arrived earlier and the team accommodated us (the weather was terrible and I think they felt sorry for us) but every single dish was prepared with so much love and care. The pasta with zucchini, goose and yellow datterino tomatoes is to die for. The duck leg covered in pistachios was incredible. Tiramisu top notch. The places is elegant and understated with a local feel. Simply wonderful. What an Easter treat! THANK YOU. Pedro and Viola

Has to be one of the best restaurants in Pogliano a mare! Do yourself a favour and get the tasting appetizer of 7 little dishes, it was amazing! So tasty and they are dishes not on the menu, the pasta and veal dishes were also delicious. Highly recommend dining here at least one night, great atmosphere and setting as well, with friendly staff.

We had gnocchi and pasta dishes. Both very unique and delicious. Tiramisu and “black truffle bomb” both excellent. Red wine by the glass was smooth and tasty. Beautiful outdoor patio. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best meal we enjoyed during our stay in Puglia. Their steaks are packed with flavour but we enjoyed every dish we ordered (which was a lot). Their outdoor seating area is also beautifully lit.

Had a great evening here and glad we came across this place. A fantastic mixed plate starter to share, then me and my wife both had beef prepared in different ways, both equally delicious. Staff were great and very pleasant and jokey. I have recommended to family members who are visiting Polignano next month.
